I wrote the book ‘The Queen of the Canopy’ because I believe that our species is capable of greatness, and our individual contributions matter.
From the tumultuous streets of 1956 Budapest to the challenging slopes of Kilimanjaro, my journey is a testament to resilience, introspection, and the human spirit. Having witnessed history’s harrowing moments firsthand and faced personal defeats, I embarked on a quest to understand the forces driving human decisions. My revelations about confronting fears and embracing self-forgiveness form the heart of this book. As a Hungarian-Canadian, I share my knowledge garnered from life’s challenges, emphasizing the importance of self-awareness and purposeful choices, drawing parallels with early humans, particularly our common ancestor, the Queen of the Canopy.
